Centrale supports a number of local initiatives:
Evolve Housing - Evolve work with 2,000 people each year across London, providing shelter, support and advice to over 700 people on a daily basis who would otherwise be homeless. Evolve’s main focus is to work directly with homeless people on a one-on-one basis to help them gain confidence, access mental health support, reconnect with their families and gain qualifications.

The South East Cancer Help Centre - SECHC is a small, independent charity supporting those affected by cancer within the local Croydon community. SECHC is currently supporting 659 people and last year, 268 newly diagnosed cancer patients joined the Centre. Support is also offered to their carers of the patients.

Lives Not Knives - Provide support and guidance to young people who find themselves in the pupil referral units at school. Their aim is to get as many young people from the units into college or an apprenticeship each year. They have a unit on the Upper Mall where training and mentoring takes place.

CVA – Croydon Voluntary Action is a membership organisation providing leadership and support to groups, residents and communities in Croydon. In July 2017 they were awarded the prestigious Queens Award for Voluntary Service for the services they provide in Croydon and the local area.
They have a unit opposite Café Giardino where the public can drop in to volunteer or find out about local options to either help or be helped.
